Host a Visiting Professorship Program Earn up to 4 complimentary CME/CE credits

What is a virtual Visiting Professorship Program?

A Virtual Visiting Professorship Program (VPP) is a unique type of accredited meeting that promotes education tailored to the specific needs of your organization and colleagues. The professorship, delivered virtually, will improve management of challenging symptoms related to multiple sclerosis and its treatment.

A 90-minute virtual VPP includes education delivered via web-streaming from an expert faculty member to address the professional gaps identified based on a pre-activity assessment of the center’s communication, problem-solving, and treatment skills. The faculty will then review challenging video cases using a problem-based learning paradigm and facilitate discussions with team members.

Who can participate in a virtual VPP?

These programs are intended for multiple sclerosis centers, hospitals, private practices, or rehabilitation centers interested in providing education to their healthcare professionals in the area of symptom management in multiple sclerosis.

What organizations can take advantage of a virtual VPP?

A virtual VPP may be conducted with any of the following:
  • Physician’s Office
  • Multiple Sclerosis Center
  • Hospital Unit
  • Rehabilitation Center

How do I schedule a virtual VPP at my institution?

Please select the preferred faculty, date, and time for your virtual VPP(s) allowing for a 90-minute program. Then complete and submit the CME/CE Activity Request Form. Once received, the ACHL staff will confirm the requested faculty’s availability, program date, and time. ACHL staff will manage all meeting logistics and will coordinate with your organization’s primary contact to confirm all on-site arrangements.

How much lead time do I need?

Approximately 6 weeks are required to fully execute a virtual VPP. Due to faculty availability, the more lead time granted, the more likely we are to confirm your choice of virtual visiting faculty.

How many CME/CE credits can I earn?

Participants are able to earn up to 1.5 complimentary CME/CE credits.
